FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What about women during their menstruation?

Many traditional pranayama techniques shouldn't be practiced during menstruation. However, Holosomatic Therapy does not necessarily put excessive pressure on the abdomen. Since every person's experience with the menstrual cycle is unique, we advise you to listen to your body and adjust your practice accordingly. Some individuals may find it uncomfortable and choose to abstain, while others may continue without issues.

2. What about mild heart arrhythmia?

Even mild heart arrhythmia is considered a contraindication for Holosomatic Therapy. Despite its severity, any form of heart arrhythmia may be affected by breath and energy work. Since there is limited scientific research on its impact, individuals with heart arrhythmia should avoid Holosomatic Therapy unless approved by a medical professional.

3. What’s considered fasting?

Fasting for more than 24 hours is considered a contraindication. Extended fasting can lead to reduced energy, dehydration, unstable blood sugar levels, and weakened concentration. Since fasting can already induce an altered state of consciousness, combining it with Holosomatic Therapy may heighten risks such as dizziness or weakness. Always consult a healthcare professional before attempting Holosomatic Therapy while fasting for prolonged periods.
